Resident Goats

Ladies before Gentlemen:

Milky Whey - DOB - 3-19-12
4 years old and still looks wonderful!

Milky Whey – Full blooded Nigerian Dwarf.  She is from very good, easy to hand milk, stock.  She is the very best, pure bred, Nigerian, in my barn.  She gives about a half gallon a day and is very easy to hand milk.  Her teats are a very nice size and the orifices are large so her udder empties quickly.  She has a very good dairy temperament.

Panda DOB 12-27-14

Panda - This is the first doe I was able to retain from Milky Whey, my very best pure bred Nigerian Dwarf milker.  Her dad is Major Coco my very best buck.  Her body is built just like her mom.  We shall see how she does!  I am partial to black and white goats.

Amelia (Earhart) DOB - 1-26-13
Amelia (Earhart) -  ¼ Lamancha ¼ Nubian ½ Nigerian Dwarf.  Twinkies doe from being bred with Major Coco.  She is very nicely built.  She has a nice length teat, a very round high udder and very nice dairy character. She is a wonderful mid-sized dairy goat for our family.  She gives a large amount of milk for her size on very little grain a day.

Calfy - DOB - 4-6-13
Calfy - Was named by my daughter Carolyn. :)  Calfy is 1/4 Lamancha 1/4 Nubian and 1/2 Nigerian Dwarf.  She is Bluebell's doe from being bred to Major Coco.  She is a very sweet girl!  She is a fabulous milker!  All my hopes of the great genetics from my large goat herd went into her.  She is the best milker on the property.  She is a dream to milk and as a first freshener her lactation went on at a good amount for almost a year! A great goat!

Gentlemen :

 Fields of Grace Joseph
Joseph (with his coat of many colors) – Full blooded Nigerian Dwarf.  I bought him from Fields of Grace.  His mom was a beautiful animal that gave a lot of milk for a Nigerian and was very easy to hand milk.

Fields of Grace FL Flash Drive

Flash Drive was bought from Fields of Grace in Sevierville TN.  He is a very nice buck with great bloodlines.  I have high hopes for some really great milkers out of him!

Fields of Grace Blue Chip

Retired Foundation Goats for my herd:

Ladies:

Bluebell - DOB - 2-21-08
Bluebell – ½ La Mancha ½ Nubian – Full sister to Twinkie.  She is sweet and easy to handle but a little sassy compared to her laid back sister.  She is so very easy to hand milk and gives a gallon a day or more for many months after freshening and has a very long lactation. She is hard to dry off.  She is a slightly better goat than her sister.  She is only one of two goats that made the cut to be retained out of my full sized dairy goat herd that I liquidated to purchase the Nigerian Dwarfs I am moving over into.  I bred her to Major Coco and got triplets out of her in April 2013.  I gave away the two bucklings and retained the very nice mid-sized doe, Calfy.   We are still milking Bluebell at this time.

Twinkie - DOB - 2-21-08
Twinkie – DOB 2-21-08 - ½ La Mancha ½ Nubian – Full sister to Bluebell.  She is a very mellow and sweet girl.  She is easy to hand milk and her mother was my favorite goat I ever owned.  She gives a gallon a day for many months after freshening and has a very long lactation. She is only one of two goats that made the cut to be kept out of my full sized goat dairy herd that I liquidated to purchase the Nigerian Dwarfs I am moving over into.  I bred her to Major Coco and got triplets from her in January 2013.  I gave away the buck and retained the two mid-sized does.  Amelia (earhart) and MiniBell.  Twinkie is now dried off and considered, retired.  :)

Gents:

Major Coco – Full blooded triple registered Nigerian Dwarf.  He is from Double Durango and is a very sweet and laid back gentlemen.  I can easily lead him around on a leash even when in rutt.  His mom had a wonderful udder and was easy to hand milk.  He is sire to Amelia, Calfy and Panda.
